  1. Light weight, effectively reduce the overall weight of camera module.
  2. Short optical total length, compact structure, easy to install in narrow hidden space inside the cockpit.
  3. Cost competitive, ideal for mass volume large-batch orders to control BOM cost.
  4. Good stray light suppression, stable mass production yield and stable delivery capacity.
  5. Better processability for ultra-wide fisheye large distortion correction.


    Disadvantages

    1. Slight thermal drift / focus shift under extreme temperature range (-40℃ ~ +105℃), inferior to all-glass lenses.
    2. Plastic elements have slight aging deformation risk under long-term high-temperature continuous working.
    3. MTF resolution and backlight anti-glare performance are weaker than full glass lenses.
    4. Not suitable for high-precision long-distance forward ADAS vision system.


    Main Application Scenarios

    1. AVM 360° panoramic surround view parking fisheye lenses (the most mainstream solution for passenger cars)
    2. In-cabin DMS driver monitoring & OMS occupant left-behind monitoring lenses
    3. BSD blind spot detection side rear-view auxiliary lenses mounted on rearview mirrors
    4. Low-speed logistics vehicles, sanitation vehicles, forklift panoramic vision cameras
    5. Cost-effective entry-level new energy mass-produced models
