Core Advantages
-
Nearly zero thermal drift (the biggest core strength)Under vehicle extreme temperature range of -40℃ ~ +105℃, all-glass groups have negligible thermal expansion and contraction, no focal shift, no out-of-focus blur caused by high temperature or low temperature. Fully meet the strict zero-drift requirement of ADAS forward vision algorithm.
-
Extreme high temperature resistance & long service lifeNo aging deformation after long-term working under engine compartment high temperature, excellent anti-fatigue performance, perfectly comply with IATF16949 full vehicle life cycle reliability standards.
-
Higher MTF resolution & superior optical performanceHigher light transmittance, sharper long-distance object imaging, stronger backlight suppression, anti-glare and anti-flare ability. Excellent performance when facing strong sunlight, tunnel light switching and oncoming high beams.
-
Outstanding vibration & long-term stabilityAfter long-term road bumping, vibration aging and temperature cycle alternating tests, optical parameters remain highly consistent, no gradual defocus problem during vehicle service period.
-
Good spectrum stabilityStable cooperation with IR-CUT filter, no color cast or infrared leakage, consistent day & night imaging effect.
Disadvantages
- Heavier overall weight than G+P hybrid lenses, increasing module load.
- Higher unit cost, obvious BOM pressure for large-scale mass-produced economical models.
- Longer total optical length, larger camera module volume, difficult to arrange in narrow hidden installation positions inside the cabin.
- Complex processing technology: glass grinding, polishing and vacuum coating have lower production yield, longer sample development cycle.
Standard Application Scenarios
- Front ADAS high-precision forward vision main lens (ACC, LKA, AEB, traffic sign recognition, pedestrian collision warning)
- Flagship high-end vehicle top configuration AVM 360° surround view system
- Heavy trucks, buses, engineering machinery, mining vehicles and other harsh working condition commercial vehicles
- Projects with mandatory requirements for long-term full-life reliability and zero thermal drift
- First-class Tier 1 designated high-standard vehicle vision modules
Scenarios Not Recommended
Pure all-glass lenses are unnecessary for ordinary AVM parking, DMS/OMS cabin monitoring and BSD blind spot auxiliary cameras; G+P hybrid lenses can fully meet demands with better cost performance
